If your student is sick with any Covid symptoms:
Covid test them at home
When you call in to excuse the absence, INCLUDE the Covid test results in your message
Read SVUSD's COVID update letter above for details and requirements.
When your student returns to school, contact your school site’s Attendance Office and inform them that your student’s home test (or PCR test) was negative and their symptoms have improved.
Drive-Thru PCR and Rapid-Antigen Testing:
Most results within 24 hrs.
If you student is symptomatic... keep them home, notify school, and test at home. Students can use a negative COVID rapid test to return to school after being positive and they do have to wait the 5 days.
